ANNABELLE : CREATION movie review
After three movies in The Conjuring universe, the origin
story of the demonic conduit/doll Annabelle finally revealed. We first saw
Annabelle in the celebrity exorcists Warren residence, where the doll was kept
for containment.

In the previous Annabelle movie, we saw the whole story of
the Annabelle doll before it was contained. Unlike the previous movies,
Annabelle: Creation is not based on the real case from the Warrens’
investigation. The origin story was written so that it will connect all movies
or the paranormal cases of the Warrens will be connected.
The Annabelle in the movie is different from the real
Annabelle doll. It was only made to look scary. The real Annabelle doll is far
from ugly. It is actually a Raggedy Anne doll. But just like in the movie, it
is also contained in glass at the Warren residence. The doll is quite life-like now because of the height.
The movie also gives creepy and surprising moments just like
the previous ones. Lights Out director David F. Sandberg did a great job giving
a scare to audiences. James Wan made a good decision to entrust Sandberg with
Annabelle. Among the cast, the girls
gained more attention in their performance. Annabelle: Creation opens August 23
in the Philippine cinemas and was released by Warner Bros. Stay after the end
credits for an extra scene.
