Hunter x Hunter: Phantom Rouge

It was only recently that SM Cinemas succeeded in bringing Rurouni Kenshin live action movie in their cinemas. After finding out that Japanese movies can be marketable, 2 more anime movies were already shown.

Hunter x Hunter: Phantom Rouge is one of the latest anime movies that was relatively new since it was only released in Japan last January. The movie earned much more than One Piece Film Z which was shown a month back.

Hunter x Hunter has a very large fan base here in the Philippines because it was shown in a local mainstream channel. In anime events held here, lots of cosplayers are dressed up as their favorite Hunter x Hunter characters.

It's been years since the series first shown here but it was still building up fans as I see it when I got to watch it at SM The Block cinemas. I never got to watch the series but I was well aware of it. If you are a new fan like me, this movie is the best place to start with Hunter x Hunter. What's good about the series was that it also has values about friendship and camaraderie.
