Sighted: Captain America: Winter Soldier toys are now here in the Phils.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is two months away on its opening day of showing here in the Philippines but the toys already here to boost the publicity of the movie. Here is my feedback about the merchandise.
The 1:18 action figures composed of two version of Captain America. One is the star-spangled uniform and the other is his SHIELD uniform. The other figures are Red Skull and the movie version of Winter Soldier.
The 1:18 scale isn't much a good likeness of the characters except for Red Skull, who sports a black uniform with trench coat. I believe Red Skull is the only one that stands out on that scale. As for Cap, his SHIELD uniform is not like my Commander Rogers figure in the comics. His face could use some quality workmanship.
The red-white-blue costume was OK but it was not like the first one that was released on the Avengers toy line. The worse was the Winter Soldier. But the 1:18 scale may still be bought because of the accessories. The individual launchers can also fit the Captain America mask as arsenal attachments,
The Legends Class may be the best line to collect. Each figure has parts of a SHIELD mandroid. So far, there are three available. Captain America, Red Skull and Baron Zemo. Cap has the head, Red Skull and Zemo has the arms. The other figures are still a mystery. Both Red Skull and the Baron have alternate figures. The Hydra Agent and an AIM trooper. I like the AIM trooper. The Hydra agent is good if you can army build.
