A Million Ways To Die In The West movie review
Imagine the Wild West...in the mind of Seth MacFarlane and you have this movie, "A Million Ways To Die In The West." MacFarlane is known for his stand-up comic humor that he applied in his animated series like Family Guy, American Dad, The Cleveland Show. With exception of The Cleveland Show, MacFarlane four regular characters and two in American Dad.

MacFarlane applied this same humor in his movie debut as the voice of the title character, Ted. Just like his works in animation, MacFarlane applied his witty criticisms and observations of the current society in the Wild West but this time, he is no longer voice acting.
Although his humor in TV was already mature in content, A Million Ways To Die In The West was more graphic and vulgar like what he did in Ted. MacFarlane's humor is not just criticism but it also makes you think. It is also mix with slapstick humor but the target audience are the ones who can also absorb the witty comments and laugh at it. MacFarlane's influence in the movie is not limited to acting and directing it but he also wrote the story.
The movie maybe too mature and graphic that it almost didn't show here in Philippine cinemas but thanks to the distribution of Columbia Pictures Phils., it is exclusively shown in Ayala Cinemas starting September 3. But don't expect nudity because there isn't any but expect cameo appearances. For more reviews, follow this blog or like L.E.N.S. blogs on Facebook.
