Star Wars The Force Awakens toy launch

Star Wars is probably one of the longest running toy franchise and the biggest since the debut of the movie. How did I come up with this statement? Since the first premiere of the original trilogy, there were lots of action figures made and continued on with the prequels, The Clone Wars and Rebels TV series, the Expanded Universe and the upcoming movie The Force Awakens. I used to have the original Luke Skywalker action figure manufactured by Kenner for The Return Of The Jedi toy line.

Hasbro continues on with the tradition as they unveiled the latest line of Star Wars toy merchandise for the upcoming movie, and the latest additions to The Black Series, Hero Mashers and the newly revived Micro Machines Star Wars edition.

I was one of the fans of Star Wars that patiently waited for the launch exactly 12:01 September 4, 2015 at SM Mall Of Asia Atrium. Upon entering, the one that really caught my attention was the mini BB-8 droid that can be controlled either by remote control or a mobile device. What I really anticipating was the Black Series versions of The Force Awakens characters especially Kylo Ren which revealed as the new dark Jedi for the movie. What I didn't see but I also anticipated was the Furbacca which is a hybrid version of a Furby and Chewbacca.

Just like in the previous launches, the Black Series will be limited to one set the new series per person until September 6 only here at Mall Of Asia Atrium. So you better hurry because not all of these toys may hit the other Toy Kingdom branches when they ran out.

Star Wars The Force Awakens toy launch is only until September 6 at SM Mall Of Asia Atrium. For more updates, follow this blog and like L.E.N.S. blogs on Facebook. Now, back to play Infinity 3.0 Star Wars. The Star Wars The Force Awakens toy launch was made possible by Toy Kingdom.
