What Happened To Hotel Transylvania 2?

I was considering to watch the latest animated movie of Sony Pictures Animation " Hotel Transylvania 2" but I was surprised that it didn't last long in the cinemas. In Ortigas and in Makati, it was no longer shown although it opened September 23 a week before the The Martian which is still in cinemas. It didn't even reached Halloween.

In the cinema business, if one movie didn't do well in the box office sales, will be given a week till for the next movie release. If anyone seen Hotel Transylvania 2, is it that bad? It is sad knowing that because I am a huge Adam Sandler fan and I was looking forward for Mel Brook's voice acting debut. It is also a common knowledge that Adam Sandler movies are sure blockbuster hit.
