Disney's Big Hero 6 movie review

Disney's Big Hero 6 is an adaptation of a comic book title by Marvel Comics. Gifted inventor Hiro lost his brother Tadashi to a sabotage that made look like an accident when he found out that his presumed destroyed invention, the microbots was used for evil purposes.

Even though it is a Disney movie, I can still see a comic book in the story but only grounded. The characters varied from their comic book counterpart especially Fred. Honey Lemon was sexier in the comic books. Wasabi and Fred were replacements. Part of the original members were X-men's Sunfire and Silver Samurai.

I can only see the reason why they didn't include them is to make the movie more like a Disney story than a superhero comics from Marvel. Second, was that the two characters are under a different movie franchise. But it is done well.

Just like a Disney story, it also gives you positive messages like family, love, friendship and sacrifice. There is no violence in the movie unlike any superhero comic book title. There is also funny moments especially from Fred and Wasabi. Because it is still a Marvel Comics property, it also give homage to Stan Lee even though he didn't create the superhero team. But Joe Quesada and Jeff Loeb is part of the movie's production.

The choices for voice actors were justified. Jamie Chung(Go-go), Daniel Henney(Tadashi), Damon Wayans(Wasabi) and James Cromwell(Prof. Callaghan were ideal for the characters. I am sure a lot of people will fall in love with Baymax after watching.

I rate this movie 5 out of 5 fight bots. For more movie reviews, follow this blog or like L.E.N.S. blogs on Facebook.
