Victor Frankenstein movie review

We are all familiar with the story but most didn't realize that the monster's name isn't Frankenstein but just addressed as Frankenstein monster. Victor Frankenstein is the creator. In this re-imagined version, it now includes an Igor which is not in the original story written by Mary Shelley.

The title character and Igor was brought to life by James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe. McAvoy already brought pop-culture characters to life and is currently the young Professor X in the ongoing X-Men movies. He first played a literary character in Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and now he is playing another.

For Daniel Radcliffe, he doesn't have a recurring character but that might change in this movie. The way the movie appears is like TV series inspired by Sherlock Holmes movies (the one with Robert Downey, Jr.). Even Frankenstein here is as eccentric as Holmes.

The story focused more on Frankenstein than the monster which is also good. What I like about the movie is that it challenges the status quo. It makes you suggest that freethinking is been right. I have nothing against any religion. I just don't want religion to dictate someone's thinking.

There not supposed to be conflict between science and religion. Sometimes, the religious misunderstood their beliefs.which is why they contradict scientific breakthroughs. History bears witness to this.

It may appear like a horror movie but it is more action packed. It also has comedy scenes, The movie trailers and posters didn't show what the monster looked like which is probably best so you can see the movie for you to see.
