Dracula Untold movie review
I admit that watching Dracula Untold is not what I have in mind since it is obvious that it is a re-imagined story based on Bram Stoker's Dracula. It is also not the first time I watch Luke Evans as a bad-ass killer in No One Lives. But he is the primary reason why I want to watch it because he is a good actor who played a bad guy in Fast & Furious 6.

Even though this is a re-imagined story, there are some historical facts in the movie. Only the vampire Dracula Bram Stoker created is fictional but he is based on a real-life character named Vlad III better known as the Impaler because what he did as just as terrifying as the fictional vampire which is why Stoker mirrored his famous character to him.
This movie is not a scary movie. It is more action packed than horror. The only scary part was from Charles Dance portrayal of the Master Vampire. Even though Dance is a veteran of these kinds of roles, he still can give you goosebumps.
A movie revelation here in the movie comes from Dracula's love interest played by Sarah Gadon. She is quite beautiful and got potential and I can see promising movie projects will come her way. The movie's only flaw was Luke Evans still sounds British even if his character is Eastern European. But the story was well told with new twists for the classic monster movie character.
Dracula Untold is release and distributed by United International Pictures and locally here in the Philippines through Columbia Pictures Philippines. Now showing in cinemas. For more quality movie reviews, follow this blog or like L.E.N.S. blogs on Facebook.
