Dreamworks' Trolls movie review
Trolls movie is based on a 90’s fad that spread across the
world for a limited time. Dreamworks Animation brought the fad back to life in
a CG animated, full length feature movie. Based on a European myth, the Trolls
are little cryptids that hides from the gigantic Bergens.

The Trolls were given unique look unlike what they looked
like before. Back then, they only vary in hair color. Now, they are given
individual hair designs and clothing to make them identifiable. Somehow, I can’t
help but compare them to Smurfs but they have made their mark because of the
character development especially to one of the main characters, Branch.
The movie is also targeting families especially children as
the primary audience. The movie is wholesome and parents should not worry for
their kids. The movie seemed like one-shot meaning that they might plan only
one movie but it can be continued if there is a new story that will be added to
the Trolls’ world. The Bergens and the Trolls shows that they are both opposites which is also good.
